The steadiness of the teaching process in the ptimary 9-year school “Emin Duraku” in the capital, where over 1400 students study, was broken on October 5 when the first Covid case was discovered.

There are currently 8 people, teachers and sanitary staff infected with Sars-Cov2.

“On October 5, a sanitary worker was infected, then a teacher. And further more 2 sanitary worker and 4 other teachers resulted positive. So in total there are 8 infected. They are in good health, as we have been told. Today 29 teachers will be tested and 29 replacements from outside have come, so that the teaching is not interrupted. We are in constant communication with the students parents, and thankfully there is no panic among all of us, because of this situation”, states the school representative.

As announced, a team from the IPH showed up at the school to test 29 teachers at the institution.

“They put a tampon on our throat and nose. I’m not afraid. I will face any kind of response. I wore the mask all the time. “I was in contact with those affected.”
