The Technical Committee of Experts decided today that there will be no new measures for the COVID pandemic in the country, saying that the current measures will continue until a second announcement.
Dr. Eugena Tomini said that during this week the infection has decreased by 1.2 of the measures imposed, which have affected the country.
“Infection during the period of recent months has been 1.2 times lower, the region that carries the most weight is Tirana, followed by Gjirokastra and Lezha. The level of risk continues to be high, the last week has shown an impact and the situation is being outlined “, said Tomini.
Deputy Minister of Health, Mira Rakacolli stressed that the measures will be the same as they were and without any deadline until a second order from the committee.
“The restriction of movement will be again from 22:00 – 06:00 throughout the country, with the exception of movement for work reasons, health emergencies or necessary needs. It is forbidden to gather over 10 people in open and closed places.
The activities of bars – restaurants are prohibited from 22:00 – 06:00 (except delivery service). Exceptions are remote work for public administration structures providing services by implementing security protocols. The measures will be reviewed every week depending on the situation and the dynamics of events “, said Mira Rakacolli.
