Albania has set another negative record for deaths and infections from Covid-19. According to data from the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 15 people have lost their lives while 836 citizens have been infected.
Of the positive cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, 560 cases were in the capital Tirana. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection calls on all citizens to respect the rules of hygiene, physical distancing and wearing a mask in any environment outside the home.
In the last 24 hours, 490 citizens have been cured, while currently 436 patients are being treated in 3 COVID hospitals, 10 of which are in intensive therapy.
QSUT Hospital said that among the victims was a 16-month-old child who died as a result of COVID19, who was being followed and treated in the COVID ward at the Pediatrics Hospital in Tirana.
