Court reduces sentence of former MP Frroku

The Court of Serious Crimes has reduced the sentence of former MP Mark Frroku, who initially received 7.5 years in prison.
Frroku had his sentenced reduced to 1.5 years at the Court of Appeal. He will now serve 6 years in prison.
Frroku was sentenced last April for money laundering, hiding assets and illegal construction.
The Prosecution demanded 25 years in prison on murder charges, but Frroku was found not guilty of the crime that took place in Belgium, 1999.
