Court of Tirana holds arsonist girl in prison until trial

The Court of Tirana left in prison Desara Mancellari, accused of burning four vehicles owned by her boyfriend’s father.

The Court panel charged the 23-year old of property destruction through arson.

Mancellari’s defense lawyer asked the court for a lighter sentence, since the girl had been violently attacked by one of Filip Papajani’s relatives. But this request was rejected.

Desara Mancellari burned the cars after a conflict with her boyfriend and the entire crime was caught on camera.
