After the police blocked the Dreambox appliances, the distributors were
brought to the law and the Tirana Court finally gave the first sentence.
A young man was sentenced to six months to prison and then set free on probation over computer fraud.
This was only one of the many trials that the Tirana Court has started for the users of Drembox, after the report made by Digitalb. The Prosecution verified that these appliances work by using a normal subscription by sharing it to several people through the Dreambox equipment, which sends the necessary encrypted keys in a special server.
The server decodes the keys and returns the signal to an unlimited number of appliances by using only one smart card.
