The Tirana Police continued with their security measures at the Court of
Serious Crimes, during the trial of nine defendants accused of
recruiting jihadists to Syria and Iraq.
Defendant Fadil Myslimani said he has never sent anyone to Syria, but he added that even if he had, he would have done the right thing.
“I would go against the diabolic plan of France and America to occupy the Middle East”, Myslimani declared.
The 51-year-old from Elbasan kept talking without permission, mentioning even the Minister of Interior.
“If he has done nothing wrong to Muslims, he should not be scared. If he has done anything wrong to Muslims, where will he go now?”, he said.
