The Council of Mandates approved the Prosecution’s request to remove the
immunity of the Socialist MP, Armando Prenga, who is under arrest for
being involved in a brawl and shooting that ended with the wounding of
seven people.
Prenga denied the accusations and said he had been threatened by the other part he was conflicted with. Prenga said his accusations are made up by the opposition members, while the Prosecution confirmed finding gun powder residue on his hands.
The Council agreed to remove Prenga’s immunity while the Parlaiment said that the voting session for this decision will be held Today at 10:00.
