Constitutional Court: “Venice Commission has not sent us a copy, due to technical issues”

Bashkim Dede, the President of the Constitutional Court released a
shocking declaration today, saying that the Venice Commission have not
sent them their decision for the Vetting Law because they had no
internet.

Dede said that they are waiting for a physical copy of the variant that was received by Top Channel, the Democratic Party and the government since December 12th. However, Dede says that the decision is ready.

“We have made an official request, but there has been no official answer for the decision. Today they answered back and said they had a technical problem, that’s why they did not send it”, Dede declared.

He underlined that the Court needs no pressure, and that it is not the judiciary system the one blocking the country’s integration.

“There is constant pressure on the media, parliament and portals, saying that the court is intentionally delaying the reforms and that we have been blocking the integration, or that judges are tied with criminals, etc. There is a law that can clarify this and whoever has done anything wrong, will undergo justice and he may go to hell. Honest and dedicated people, on the other hand, need to be valued”, Dede said.
