Constitutional Court removed mandate of Koco Kokedhima

The Constitutional Court removed the mandate of MP Koco Kokedhima today.
The review of his case started in April 20th, a condition set by the
opposition to return the political normality.

DP says that Kokedhima has violated the Constitution by receiving public funds from agreements signed through the company he owned until a few months before being elected MP.

In the past sessions, Kokedhima said that this process was only to damage his political career. He told the court that the agreements were signed before he was elected. He added that there could be other MPs in his condition.
