Constitutional Court rejected DP request against Vetting Law

The Constitutional Court of Albania rejected the Democratic Party request against the Vetting Law.

Two judges voted in favor, six voted against. The Decision comes after the opinion sent by the Venice Commission.

The Albanian  Prime Minister, Edi Rama, reacted on Facebook saying that the DP tried to block the Vetting Law, but they didn’t make it.

“Now it is time to go on with its implementation”, Rama added.
