Consequences of climate sudden change

The climate change will bring many problems in the sector of agriculture and health. The increased temperature of 1.5 degrees has brought natural irregularities during the four seasons in our country.

The experts confirm that this summer will be hot and dry, while some areas will have heavy rainfalls with floods and hail, which could damage agriculture.

“Some areas will be dry, with droughts. Other areas will have heavy rainfall. The main problem appears at extreme conditions, droughts or floods. Experts think that if no measures will be taken for the gases, we will have an increase of 2.5 and 2% in the next 50 years”, says Laureta Dibra, chief of the Climate Change sector.

In these conditions, the environmental experts declare that defensive measures should be taken in the agriculture and health sector.

“Concrete measures have been assigned for each area, regarding water management, irrigation systems’ improvement by drainage channels, and in the way animals are fed. The fermentation process and the way animals are fed enables gases to be released with an effect that is 20 times higher than carbon dioxide”, Dibra declared.

Climate changes will also affect the energetic sector, since 90% of our country’s energy is produced by the hydro system.
