In the framework of the project “My Crafts Tradition” in Elbasan, a workshop for handicraft products has been established.
The social enterprise that comes to the aid of abused or marginalized women and operates in one of the properties seized from organized crime.
But the organizers say that despite the good social projects, they need the support of state structures so that they are long-lasting and come to the aid of as many people as possible.
As part of this project, women are trained in handicrafts or loom work and are employed by this social enterprise which then aims to trade their handicrafts.
Apart from the social side, this initiative aims to promote the beautiful Albanian tradition and return it to the families.
The models worked upon belong to all areas of Albania.
