The Council of Ministers approved a decision that aims to defend public spaces and create new ones to serve citizens.
The decision makes way for the local government to sign partnership agreements with private operators for their maintenance.
Some of the services include management of public parking spaces, green areas, cafes or entertainment areas.
When these spaces are on private property, the government says the local nit will agree with the owner before starting the development.
The government says the evaluation in this case is up to the local government.
