Communications Authority: “Cellphone fees 17% cheaper starting December 1st”

The three cellphone companies that are operating in Albania, must reduce the prices of phone calls between each other with 17%, starting from December 1st.

The decision was announced by the Electronic and Postal Communications Authority.

This announcement comes on the same week when the second biggest cellphone company in Albania announced that it was on sale.

“This is not a direct intervention to what the consumer pays. By reducing fees between each company, we expect the consumer to benefit”, said Pajtim Melani, Market Director at the EPCA.
