The Special Reform Commission had both parties declare in its first
session their full will for reforming the law in such a way that it
brings fair elections, based on mutual consensus.
Parliament Speaker Ilir Meta said that he wishes for the next elections to fulfill all standards, as it should be in a EU candidate country.
Bashkim Fino from the SP said that the OSCE-ODIHR report will be taken in consideration, and consensus may be reached before the summer holidays or even in the end of the year.
Oerd Bylykbashi from the DP said this is a key moment for the Albanian parliament, and there is no time to treat all problems.
