Every ruin in the city of Korce can turn into a source of survival for some of the impoverished families of this city.
The ruins of unmaintained buildings are not only an ugly image for the city, but also a clear evidence of the misery with which thousands of families fight every day.
One of the destroyed buildings has made young men dig among the materials to bring out scrap metal which they can sell.
As soon as the walls of this building crumbled, dozens started digging with the hope to find something they can sell to survive.
Unemployment, low incomes and the need to survive make families break concrete blocks for hours, just to take the iron bars which they can sell later.
