Coalition of Local Observers published the third interim report for the
June 21st elections, focusing on the fact that the Municipal Council
candidates have been left in the shadows during the entire campaign.
“The campaign had exaggerated protagonism from the party leaders”, the representatives of the CLO said.
The report showed some problems of the campaign, such as the usage of children in electoral campaigns and claims for purchase of votes.
The CLO say they will not be present in the monitoring process during the Election Day, but they will monitor complaints and will pay attention to the zonal commissions throughout the country.
