Coach De Biasi not happy with National Team footballers

“I met several players. The last one I saw was Sadiku. Unfortunately, his team lost 4-0. He played well, but we still have the same problem. Our players are not playing enough recently. I am referring to Ajeti, who played 90 minutes yesterday. Or Veseli, who has not been active. This situation doesn’t help us for the upcoming matches this March”.

The most controversial visit was the one with Mavraj in Hamburg. Albania’s defender has shown some disagreements about the captain’s title, but De Biasi says this has been exaggerated by the media and there was no plan to interrupt relations.

“This is something stupid, made up from media. Mavraj is part of our national team program. He values us very much. He also wants to be captain, but due to some criteria such as the age and the number of matches, Agolli has more experience. If Agolli quits football and Mavraj behaves well, he will be captain”, De Biasi said.

De Biasi’s recent visit to Albania was by invitation of the Italian Embassy, which will grant him one of the most important honor titles.

“This is a title given to Italians who work abroad. I am very happy about this, because it is a special title, “Cavailiere of the Italian Republic””, De Biasi said.
