Several areas in the Durres District have turned in urban waste dump
sites. The initiative “Clean Albania in one day” has engaged the local
administrations in Durres to coordinate their actions and secure cleaner
habitations in the district.
The Prefect of this District, Roland Xhelilaj, asked the local units to start the process for removing the waste and secure all logistic means that could help closing the entire process within November 22nd.
Local governments were asked to create their own cleaning plans, while many directories and other institutions will join the activities.
