The civil society will keep opposing the building of the Namazgja mosque in Tirana.
Considering the verdict of the Administrative Court as unfounded, the Institution of National matters challenged it at the Court of Appeal, saying it is against the law.
The plaintiffs insist that protection of public interest is a strong argument making their request legitimate for the Court.
For this they refer to a verdict of the Constitutional Court of the European Court of Human Rights, which emphasizes the right of everyone for access to the judiciary.
