Erjon Braçe rejected what he called “ lies” of the Prime Minister Berisha and Lulëzim Basha, regarding the taxes that the citizens pay to the Tirana Municipality.
The Socialist Deputy showed the bills that people close to the Prime Minister have paid to the municipality.
“Lulëzim Basha has been telling for three weeks now, that the citizens pay 82 taxes in Tirana. This is the bill that Mrs. Liri Berisha has paid. They have paid only three taxes, at the value of 9180 ALL per year or 765 ALL per month (because of the 175 m2 house). This bill shows the taxes paid by Shkëlzen Berisha: only two taxes, 5500 ALL per year or 458 ALL per month. This is the bill paid by Sokol Olldashi. He pays only three taxes, 7600 ALL per year or 633 ALL per month. Lulëzim Basha lies. Every Tirana family pays only three taxes per month with an average of 500 ALL”, Braçe said.
Mr. Braçe compared the taxes that the citizens pay to the government with the taxes that they pay to the municipality.
“Every Tirana family pays 550 ALL per month to the municipality, while an average family pays 3500 ALL per month to the government, 70 times more. More specifically, for every 100 ALL of taxes, an Albanian family pays 1.6 ALL to the municipality and 98.4 to the government. Lulëzim Basha entered this race to lie, so he has lost it since the start”, Braçe emphasized.
