Christian believers celebrate Easter this Saturday. Orthodox and
Catholic devotees will wait midnight to celebrate the resurrection of
Christ.
Archibishop Anastas of Tirana, Durres and all Albania, and Archibishop Rrok Mirdita of the Tirana-Durres diocese, wish a happy easter to all believers.
“The resurrection of Christ is filled with a bright light. It radiates in all directions of the world. We are invited to take this light from deep from our existence. Let’s see our mind, face and hearts, which often fall under melancholy and anger. Brothers and sisters, Christ resurrected”, declared Archibishop Anastas Ianullatos.
“Our society, our villages and towns, are not free of pain and failures. The suffering of innocent people. The resurrected says to every suffering man today: ‘Don’t be afraid’. He says to every man and woman: ‘Don’t be afraid’. The resurrected Christ fills everybody’s life with hope today”, declared Archibishop Rrok Mirdita.
