Christians throughout the world celebrate Christmas. Hundreds of
catholic devotees gathered this midnight at the Saint Paul cathedral, in
Tirana, to celebrate this important moment for Christians.
The Holy Mass of Christmas was held by Rrok Mirdita, the Metropolis Archibishop of the Tirana-Durres diocese. The Saint Paul cathedral in Tirana was overpopulated by devotees, who waited outside for the rituals.
The Mass at the Orthodox Church was held in the early hours of today, when the Orthodox devotees gathered at the Orthodox Cathedral in Tirana to celebrate one of the most important days in the Christian calenader, the birth of Christ.
The Mass was led by the Archibishop of Tirana Anastas, who held it in Albanian and Greek.
Religious communities appealed everyone to contribute for co-existence and peace.
