The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, arrived in Belgrade for the

The visit started with a mutual meeting with Czech representatives and officials. Before entering the meeting, Prime Minister Rama mentioned some of the projects where they need Chinese investments.

“This is an important summit for all countries of the region and for concrete projects. I believe and I hope to fnalize a 1-year-long effort for funding the Arber Road highway. We have a series of important contacts with the other countries of the region, to speak and finalize a stance that we have proposed for the railways in the region, same as in the other agreements with the Chinese partners for infrastructure, industrial areas and for supporting the agriculture for the drainage and irrigation system”, Rama declared.

Rama returned in Belgrade after the visit of November 10th, and the diplomatic tension that was caused by his declaration about Kosovo.

“I hope to give more rhythm to the process that for me has no return. Serbia is our neighbor and the earlier they recognize Kosovo, the better it will be to go move on”, the Prime Minister declared.

China has a 10 billion USD project for the participating countries, and Albania is expected to receive a significant part of investments.
