The Albanian First Lady, Odeta Nishani, together with the initiative of civil societies, organized in Durres a charity even in support of 18 children, patients of the Tirana University Oncology Hospital. The First lady declared that these activities are very important for raising the state’s awareness for this category of children.
“Every day in this period of celebrations is an excellent case to recognize, support and celebrate with these children. The difficulties that these children and their families are meeting due to the lack of expensive medicaments gathers us here to join our efforts so that we can make their suffering a bit easier”, the First Lady declared.
Actor Tinka Kurti, a great artist of the Albanian Cinema and TV, appealed everyone to help the families with children who suffer from diseases such as cancer and leukemia.
“Help these children who have the right to live as everyone else”, the actor declared.
Regardless of the physical suffering and the inability to move freely as every child, Jordan smiles and thanks with the hopes that the state and society will take more care of him and the other children who face difficult diseases.
