Chief of State Police, Haki Cako, removed from duty

The General Chief of Police, Haki Cako, has been relieved from duty by order of the Interior Minister, Fatmir Xhafaj. Cako was replaced by  Rebani Jaupi.

Cako was appointed three years ago to replace Artan Didi. The argument used by the Interior Ministry for this order is that the State Police needs a higher pace and dynamics in the upcoming challenges.
