“Chemical substances”, Basha: Victory of the Albanian youth

Lulzim Basha congratulated the Albanian youth, which, according to him,
ended this nightmare by obliging Edi Rama to say a faint “no””.

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that this is a victory of the free Albanian society which took their fate in their hands when a Prime Minister wanted to play with it. The Democratic Party feels part of this legal popular joy, because it was on the side of the Albanian people, and they did their duties as opposition to unmask the lies of the Prime Minister, but he reiterated that most of the work was done by the people and youth, without political distinctions.

“The youth is the democratic European and modern aspiration. As leader, citizen and parent I want to congratulate the men and women who blocked this adventure of the Prime Minister with the chemical weapons. We resolved a big problem, but now we have another. This problem is Edi Rama, who, with his megalomania, created this scandal by offering to continue the disposal of the chemical weapons, not as a serious Prime Minister or serious partner, but as a man who wanted to do it for his own interests”, Basha declared.

The opposition leader argued: “The Prime Minister did not make transparency and hid this matter. He didn’t asked anyone for advise. The Albanian democracy is built on the foundations of transparency. Rama lied to our strategic ally. He was alone in his circle of lies, unreliable even for our partners”.

Basha spoke about the relations of his party with the United States.

“For the Democratic Party, the relations with the United States are key. The Democratic Party has cooperated closely for several matters that are important for the global peace of security. Our allies have seen very well the dedication of Albania under our direction. This has been shown by the declarations of the highest American officials during the years. A lying Albanian Prime Minister should take full responsibility and the Democratic Party will demand transparency for this history that damaged the image of our country and put us in a difficult position with our ally”.
