A few hours after the declaration of the Ministry of Energy, Trade and
Economy, which threatened this company for cutting electricity to state
owned aqueducts over due payments, CEZ gave a press release in which it
declared that this company will make everything possible for not
allowing regular paying clients to carry the burden of those who don’t
pay their obligations.
According to CEZ, the electrical power was cut to clients that have past due payments, including aqueducts, which have made a deaf year to the constant warnings made by this company.
CEZ will not tolerate anymore the 1.1 billion ALL debt that the aqueducts have accumulated during these months. The company further emphasized that it welcomes the intervention of the government for allocating the funds that would help the aqueducts to fulfill their contractual obligations.
According to CEZ, similar actions will be taken against all clients, families and state owned subjects that ignore the solutions offered by this company.
“CEZ cannot survive without encashment”, says the press release.
“This company is ready to cooperate with the Albanian government for a full solution of this major problem”, the document adds.
