Celebration for the 10th anniversary of Digitalb

Digitalb, the TV platform of all Albanians, celebrated its tenth
anniversary in a gala evening, with many personalities as guests from
the areas of art, sport, politicians and directors and employees of Top
Media.
The General Director of Digitalb, Alban Jaho, valued the vision of Top Media’s founder, Dritan Hoxha, who built the company in a time when Albania had existential problems that had a deep contradiction with the developments of the digitalb platform. He added that those who built Digitalb, added a fifth element to the four elements of life, and that is the spiritual one.
A special greeting speech was held by the President of Top Media, Vjollca Hoxha, who reminded the sacrifices and devotion of everyone for the creation and development of this digital platform. Her main gratitude went to its founder, Dritan Hoxha.
The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, declared that Digitalb turned into the most loving platform of the Albanian people during these 10 years. Prime Minister Rama valued the role of Dritan Hoxha, the innovator who brought this technology that was a novelty not only for Albania in that time. This technology played a main role in the cultural, social and political unification of all Albanian peoples in Kosovo, Macedonia and Presheva.
A special thank came from the Chairwoman of the Integration Commission, the Democratic Party MP, Majlinda Bregu, who declared that Digitalb has won the hearts of all the Albanian people.
A short documentary was showing in this event, which showed the creation history of Digitalb during 10 years. The long version of this documentary will be shown soon on Digitalb during June.
The Albania famous singer, Elvana Gjata, sang “Je ti”, a song written by Flori Mumajesi especially as a dedication to Digitalb and the Albanian people. The Programming Director, Agim Pocari, handed over five special awards for Digitalb’s collaborators during the years.
The event continued with a concert with traditional and modern songs, violin performances from Olen Cezari and the Qerimaj Family, singers from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro, bringing together Albanian representatives from the entire region. This is an editorial policy of Digitalb for promoting the National Values, a policy that started since its creation on July 15th 2004.
