CEC violates law for Kukes

While everyone was looking for a declaration regarding the lack of
quorum for reviewing the complaints, based on article 24 of the
electoral code, which requires qualified majority, the highest electoral
institution opened a procedure that caused a strong opposition of the
left coalition legal representatives.

“You have no quorum so make no legal violations”, declared the Socialist Party representative, genc Gjoncaj, addressing to the right representatives.

“The verdict requires five votes, but not the review”, answered Ivi Kaso, Democratic Party representative.

The democrat representative Njazi Kosovrasti did not discuss as usually, and neither did the other DP representatives Klement Ziguri and chairwoman Lefterie Lleshi.

The only members who said something about this procedure were Vera Shtjefnia nd Hysen Osmanaj, who said “We can discuss this, but the difficult part of the process is that we have four members”.

Despite the silence, the four members united their votes for rejecting the first complaint coming from the Socialist Movement for Integration for the Kukes District.

According to the Socialist Movement for Integration, this is the cause that created discrepancies in the ballot boxes of the areas in which the Democratic Party has won with 150 votes.

For this reason, the Socialist Movement for Integration requested a recount and revaluation.
