The Central Election Commission (CEC) rejected the complaint of the
Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), against the result of the Vore
Municipality. The tree members of the majority voted in favor of SMI,
the three members of the opposition voted against, and Chairwoman’s
Lefterie Luzi vote was decisive.
The decision leaves in power the result of the Vore Local Election Commission, which found the opposition’s candidate, Fiqiri Ismaili, winner of this municipality.
SMI wanted to invalidate the result in 18 voting centers, claiming that the voters’ lists had been manipulated with at least 600 people coming from other cities just for the vote.
