The leader of the Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity, Shpetim
Idrizi, will not be part of the new parliament, according to the Central
Election Commission that approved the results for Tirana.
The PJIU representatives at the CEC meeting asked them to postpone the Tirana announcement for 48 hours, to verify results even through video footage, but CEC voted against this request.
Mesila Doda from PJIU said that the Tirana result has differed in several cases. They say PJIU has evidence for this. This declaration spurred debates with the CEC Chairman.
Doda said for the media that PJIU has a seat in Tirana, and they will prove it in the days to come. In the meanwhile, CEC approved unanimously the request of the DP representative, Ivi Kaso, to postpone the approval of the results with 24 hours.
