The Court of Arbitration decided to give back the 2015-2016 season cup to “Skenderbeu”, which had been removed by the Ethics Commission of the Albanian Football Federation, based on UEFA reports that there had been match-fixing.
In an interview for Top Channel, the President of the Korca team, Ardian Takaj, said that this was good news for the team, something that they were expecting.
“It was wrongfully denied by the Ethics Commission. Our adversaries must know that cups are won only on the fields, not with decisions coming from the Prime Minister or by Disciplinary Commission”, Takaj said.
