The hearing session at the CAS of Lausanne ended today, with the Serbian
and Albanian Football Federations making their declarations and
confronting questions to each other in front of the court.

In an interview for Top Channel, the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, explained everything that took place in the highest sportive Court, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

“We heard the witnesses of Lorik Cana, the Captain of the Albanian team; Gianni De Biasi, the coach of Albania; the Captain of the Serbian football team and the Director of the Belgrade stadium. We heard and questioned the witnesses of both sides”, Duka declared.

For the first time in CAS was discussed the racism view.

“The testimonies were clear. The match could not continue. UEFA didn’t take in consideration our accusation for racism, which is back today. We had a professor of crime studies who said that the match could not continue”, Duka declared.

The decision of CAS is the last degree of the sportive judiciary where Albania can request the three points that were denied by UEFA.

“The judge panel only heard the witnesses. The decision might take one month or so”, Duka declared.

TCH: Was there any effort of agreement from Serbia to replay the match?

Armand Duka: No, not at all.
