An unusual and dramatic event took place this Monday evening in Durres,
when a car was stolen together with a 1 month old child inside.
Fortunately, the child was found a few hours later in a Lapraka kindergarten, unharmed. The 1 month baby was immediately sent to the hospital and it is in good health conditions.
The car was found later in the town of Lac.
The parents of the child were from Burrel, and were traveling from Tirana to Shkembi i Kavajes. They stopped to shop for an electric appliance, and left the car engine on, due to the baby. This moment was used by the thieves, without knowing that the baby was inside.
The police was engaged immediately with roadblocks throughout the country.
