Cani: Budget that returns economic growth

“The main goal of this budget is to start returning to the normal growth path that we had before the crisis”, Cani declared.

Compared to this year, the revenues increase with 46.5 billion ALL, or 12.6%. The Minister of Finances compared these results with those of the former government.

“The total revenue is bigger than the past 6-7 years, 75.6 billion ALL. Only for 2014-2015 it will be 87.3 billion ALL more. This is an increase when you compare 6-7 years with two years”, Cani declared.

The government says that by increasing the revenues and restricting spending, the public debt will tart reducing in a few years.

Budget 2015, some taxes increase

The Minister of Finances said that together with the budget, some taxes with also increase, like the income tax.

“The salary taxes will not be changed. All other taxes will change from 10% to 15%. The circulation tax for petrol and gasoline will be increased with 10 ALL. I am convinced that it will not increase the price as it is being mentioned in propaganda. It will be same as in the past year, when the price didn’t increase”, Cani declared.

Another tax that will increase is the excise of cigarettes, with 20 ALL per package. The insurance tax will be lowered, since the 20% VAT will be removed. It will have a new tax of 3%. The tax of new tires will be reduced from 15% to 10%, while the last minute change is the removal of excise in energy drinks. There will be lower taxes for agriculture too.
