Candidate for Tirana, Rama meets MPs and Ministers

The Socialist Party is not decided yet if they will have Erion Veliaj or
Blendi Klosi to run for the biggest municipality, that of the Albanian
capital, Tirana.

After returning from the UAE, Prime Minister Rama held a meeting with the Socialists, but no name was chosen.

The vice Head of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, the Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla, the Head of the Parliamentary Group, Gramoz Ruci, MP Eduard Shalsi, the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri and the Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, were all present in this meeting, together with the Minister of Social Welfare, Erion Veliaj, who might be a candidate.

One source confirmed for Top Channel that the meeting asked by Edi Rama aimed coordinating a measure plan for the June 21st elections.

Top Channel has learned that a meeting between the Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, and Prime Minister Edi Rama is expected this Wednesday for completing the list of candidate, especially for Tirana and Vlora.
