The Chief of the State Police, Haki Cako, inspected the measures taken
by the Police Authorities for preventing asylum seekers in the EU.
Cako said from the Rinas airport that the border police and every other law enforcing agency is determined to not allow free movement for asylum seeking.
Cako warned citizens to not undertake this initiative, since that would burn their free movement chances in the Schengen area.
The Chief of Police advised citizens who want to work and live in EU countries to do this through legal procedures.
He said that 9 million people have entered and left our country in the past 9 months, the biggest flux in summer, 2.2 of whom were foreigners.
