Fotaq Semi, a businessman from Tirana, risks 15 years in prison for defrauding 1 million USD from several citizens.
Semi collected their money from 2012 to 2013 for investing in real estates and food line production. He was demanding this money from his close friends, people he knew from school.
Exploiting their trust, Semi collected more than 1 million USD from five of his friends and their relatives. They understood the problem when Semi cut his wrists in an attempted suicide, but it was too late.
Police did not find any account on his name, and the no one knows where the money have ended up to. The Tirana Prosecution requested 15 years in prison for Semi.
