The government may leave businesses more time to prepare for the new “electronic-bill only” law.
The law was supposed to enter in effect by January 1st 2020, but the Minister of Finances said that the government will take in consideration the suggestions coming from businesses, who say that there is not enough time.
The new law will make a radical change to the way how businesses are registered and how they report their financial activity to the tax office in real-time.
For this reason, the Ministry of Finances is holding intensive consults with all interested parties.
According to the Ministry, the new system will limit the chances for tax evasion and will allow the tax office to better control businesses that are at risk.
