Business owner who caused gas explosion will be prosecuted

The 67-year-old Abdulla Dervishi, who is being treated for severe
burning, will also be prosecuted for violating technical safety rules,
for putting the life of citizens in danger and destruction of property.
The Prosecution says the session will be held in prison, since 18 persons were hurt during the explosion. The defendant risks more than five years in prison, but the judge might take in consideration his serious health conditions.
His neighbors whose businesses were damaged have started repairs. One of them, Xhevat Shima, has been negotiating for the past three years to remove those gas cylinders, since he feared for their safety. He had made several reports but nothing had been done.
Many of the injured are still under treatment.
