The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, met with excellence students who had requested an interpellation with him through the “Albania We Want” portal.
In this meeting, the Minister said that the new agreement with Greece will be better than the one of 2009.
Bushati said that media reports about giving away 12 maritime miles, or for giving sea territory away, are just slander.
“We have an agreement that was repealed by the Constitutional Court, and this will be the first basis of the next agreement with Greece. The second one will be the international law. Both countries have their own internal legislation and this will be taken into account. Any agreement that we will reach will be much better than the one made by the Berisha government in 2009. The Constitutional Court verdict is very clear”, Bushati said.
