The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, has started an official visit in Japan, focusing on deepening the economic relations between both countries and bilateral cooperation.
On the first day of his visit he met with the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Hiroshige Seko; the President of the Japanese Business Federation, Joshio Sato; and attended the event organized by the Albanian Embassy in Tokyo, “An Albanian day in Tokyo”, to promote Albanian businesses in the Japanese market, and to promote Albania as a potential destination for Japanese investors.
Bushati informed Minister Seko about Albania’s progress in the EU path, and invited the government and Japanese enterprises to support other the projects initiated in the region, part of the Berlin process and of the strategic partnership that Japan has with the EU.
Seko invited the Albanian enterprises to attend the Expo Osaka Fair 2025, as a good way to present Albanian products in the Japanese market.
Bushati’s visit in Japan will continue tomorrow with a meeting with his counterpart, Komo, at the Japanese Parliament.
