Bushati: “Ready to help Italy with immigrants”

The Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, declared on Twitter that he is ready to help Italy with the immigrants who are being left in the sea.

“Italy, we cannot replace Europe, but we are always here on the other side of the sea, where we used to be the Eritreans that are suffering today. Italy saved us yesterday and we are ready to help Italy today”, Bushati wrote on Twitter.

According to sources, Albania is ready to welcome 20 out of 150 immigrants that are blocked on the sea.

This Friday, the 150 immigrants on the ”Diciotti” ship started a hunger strike in protest of Salivini’s decision to not allow them to disembark from the ship.
