The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, met with the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Wess Mitchell.
The meeting focused on the excellent relations between both countries and Albania’s key role as a factor of peace and stability in the region.
Both officials discussed the perspective of European Integration and the reforms undertaken by the Albanian government for rebuilding and consolidating the rule of law.
Assistant State Secretary Mitchell expressed the support of the USA for Albania’s European Integration perspective and praised our country’s contribution in key security challenges in the region and abroad.
