The Albanian minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, said that the messages brought by the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, during his two-day visit in Tirana, are very positive for Albania.
“The messages of President Juncker about the state-consolidating reforms of Albania are an encouragement to continue with the reforms, despite obstacles and difficulties”, Bushati wrote on social networks.
The Chief Diplomat said that Albania’s foreign policy in the region, characterized by constructive dynamism and realistic treatment of suspended bilateral matters, and the alignment of the foreign policy with that of EU, are assets that make Albania distinctive in the region.
“2018 is a great opportunity to progress with the EU accession”, Bushati declared.
