“There is an agreement undergoing for limiting the maritime areas. There are two draft-agreements, one for the maritime border markers and another one for managing border incidents. We hope to close everything with these three projects”, said the Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati.
The decision of the Constitutional Court is the red line for Albania, but not for Greece, according to Bushati.
“Our Constitutional Court decision offers a series of rules about what should be done. We have stood by this decision. On the other hand, we should be realistic and not feed the public opinion with fake illusions.
The Constitutional Court verdict is imposing for us, but it is not the case for Albania”, Bushati said.
The President of Albania will have to issue another authorization, this time for signing the agreement with Greece.
