During his meeting with the EU Foreign Ministers, which is being held in Vienna, the Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, commented the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Bushati said that the recent developments between Macedonia and Greece were very encouraging, same as the talks between Kosovo and Serbia for normalizing their relations.
“It is important to review the commitment of both parties and see what has been achieved so far in these processes, especially as regards energy, connectivity, mutual diploma recognition, roaming fees, which are withholding not only Kosovo and Serbia, but the entire region”, Bushati said, encouraging the dialogue between Vucic and Thaci.
According to the Albanian Foreign Minister, the dialogue needs to be concluded with a legally bound mutual agreement, which will bring more stability in the region and that will approve the EU principles in our region”, Bushati said.
The Minister said that the aspirations of Albania to become an EU member cannot be separated from the values and purposes that the policies of Eu are trying to achieve in Balkan.
Bushati emphasized Albania’s determination to align its Foreign Policy with the EU, adding that that policy has its roots in the democratic roots and norms that our Balkan countries are trying to absorb.
