The Bus Association of Inter-Urban Transportation supports the measures
taken by the government for stopping the transport of 8+1 vans.
They say that the informality in the public transportation during all these years has damaged honest competition.
“The inter-urban transportation has been damaged for 15 years and has been ignored by full informality, by threatening the security of passengers”, declared Kujtim mema from the Inter-Urban Transportation Association.
The Association asks for terminals and says that the travel prices will not change.
“We promise to citizens that prices will not change, regardless of the drastic growth of fuel prices”, Mema declared.
Bus drivers promise to block roads if government draws back from this reform.
